Background & Experience
|
As Vice President of Research and Technology for the firm, Ron Anderson brings NAI Avant a diverse set of experiences, including geographic data collection and management, database development, research, and community planning. He earned his B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and his Master of City and Regional Planning from Clemson University. He previously was the Production Manager for CIGNA Flood Services in Los Angeles. Currently, he serves on the Environmental Policy Advisory Committee of the Central Midlands Council of Governments and a member of the City of Columbia Planning Commission. He is also the past Chair of the Board of Partners For Education, Past Chair of the Midlands Business and Education Alliance, and Program Committee Chair of the South Carolina Chapter of the Urban Land Institute.
Ron’s previous experience includes: Clean Water Action 1988 - 1992; Greenpeace, USA 1992 - 1994; CIGNA Flood Services 1994 - 1997; Greenville County Redevelopment Authority 1997 - 1998; Vismor and Associates 1998 - 1999; NAI Avant 1999 - Present |
